APPROACH

My therapy approach is about self-discovery, growth, healing and finding balance. I facilitate the discovery of a fulfilled life and the expression of sexuality in ways that enrich one's life. I will walk with you in the journey of loving yourself, clearing the past, becoming happier, cultivating healthy relationships and creating a brighter future.

My theoretical approach for individual therapy is trauma informed care, tailored to meet your specific needs and preferences. Here are some evidence based therapy styles I use:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance strategies to help individuals become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and sensations in the present moment.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Designed to help individuals explore and resolve ambivalence about behavior change and making healthier lifestyle choices.

Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)

Focuses on improving interpersonal relationships and addressing current life challenges. 

No two individuals are the same, and your journey to healing shouldn't be either. The effectiveness of therapy style can vary from person to person, so finding the right fit for your individual needs and preferences is important to determine what might work best for you.
